Jeanette T. Wells, Director of Junior Clubs

Since joining the Glendale Heights Junior Woman’s Club almost 22 years ago, Jeanette has served as president of her club for 3 terms and has served on almost every committee in her club.  In the 2004-2006 Administration, Jeanette served as Junior Director of the 5th District and she was hooked!  She continued to serve on the State Board in various positions including Junior Director Elect 2014-2016, Junior Dean of Chairman 2012-2014, Membership 2010-2012, Public Relations 2008-2010 and Fundraising 2006-2008.  She also served as Fundraising Co-Chair for the Great Lakes Region 2010-2012.

Jeanette feels blessed to be serving as the GFWC IL Director of Junior Clubs for the 2016-2018 administration and is committed to “helping design better lives” during her administration. Jeanette has one son, Gregory (24) and works full time as a Business Systems Analyst for Liberty Mutual Insurance in Warrenville.

Cherie Sieger, Director Elect of Junior Clubs

Cherie joined GFWC IL Coal City Junior Woman’s Club in 2002 to meet women in her town, having just moved to Coal City from Chicago. She quickly found her passion of volunteering and GFWC. She was named Junior of the Year in her Club and District early in her GFWC journey, she held offices of Club Treasurer, Secretary, Vice President, and Club President. On District level, Cherie held offices of District 12 Secretary, District 12 Junior Secretary, District 12 Fundraising and Arts Chairman. On the IL State Junior level, Cherie was District 12 Director of Junior Clubs (2 terms), State Junior Treasurer, and Junior Special Projects Chairman.

Because of Cherie, the women and Junior clubs in District 12 continue to meet together sharing ideas and helping one another.  Her leadership skills led her to be named GFWC-IL LEADS graduate 2011. Cherie is also an active member of the Somonauk Community Junior Woman’s Club. As GFWC-IL Director Elect for 2016-2018, Cherie’s goal is to watch, listen and learn in preparation for her administration as Director of Junior Clubs in 2018-2020 as well as serve as liaison to the GFWC IL Junior District Directors.

Cherie is married to Dwight, works at Valley West Hospital in Sandwich, and is a Mom to 3 girls, Grandmother of 5 and Dog-mom of 3.

Loretta Revesz, Dean of Chairmen

Loretta has been an active and passionate member of GFWC IL Elgin Junior Woman’s Club since 2007.   She jumped right in to GFWC by becoming Elgin Junior’s secretary from 2008-2010.  In 2010, Loretta served as President-Elect and was President for 2012-2014.  She was recently installed as the 2014-2016 Elgin Junior’s Membership/Social Director.   At the State level, Loretta was ESO and Arts Chairman on the Junior State board from 2010-2012.    She then moved to Junior State Treasurer in 2012 and successfully completed her second term in that position for 2014-2016.   Her goals as Dean of Chairmen include streamlining reporting, serving as a resource for all GFWC IL Junior Board Chairmen and encouraging all clubs to report.

Loretta has been happily married for 36 years and has two wonderful sons.  She is employed full-time as Procurement Manager for Siemens Industry, Inc. in Buffalo

Joanne Meyer, Secretary

Joanne has been a member of GFWC Elgin Junior Woman’s Club since 1986.  She has held numerous positions in club during that time.  Joanne has been President, Vice President, Ways and Means Director, Health and Welfare Director, Membership Director, and Publicity Director.  She has served as Community Service Chairman for every program, and has chaired many club fundraisers.

On the District level Joanne has served as District 11 Junior Director, Assistant Junior Director, Public Issues chairman, and nominating committee member. At the State level Joanne has served as Art Chairman, Health Chairman, and Education and Fundraising Chairman – twice!

Joanne is grateful for the leadership opportunities that she has been given through GFWC, and she is looking forward to serving as GFWC Illinois Junior Secretary for the 2016-2018 administration.

Erika Dobrotka, Treasurer

Erika has been a member of Elmhurst Junior Women’s Club for 15 years. She held the position of Treasurer for multiple terms and was an integral part of the club’s major fundraisers on the Ways & Means and Kitchen Expedition Committees.

Erika has been active on the District and State levels as well. She held the position of Treasurer for 2 terms for the 5th District and the positions of Junior Treasurer and Special Projects co-chairman (with sister LeeAnn Conlon) on the State Junior Board.

Erika works full time for a digital advertising company where she implemented an employee volunteer program. She has been married for 26 years and has an 18 year old son who is heading off to college in August. She figured this is a perfect time to become involved again with our State Organization and is looking forward to serving as Junior Treasurer during the 2016-2018 administration.
